Join us Wednesdays at 6pm to as we dig into the book "Wrestling With Doubt Finding Faith" written by Rev. Adam Hamilton. You don't need a book in order to participate. Everyone is welcome for any or all sessions!
STUDY OVERVIEW: Does your faith make room for questions? Everyone has doubts. Where is God when bad things happen? Does God hear our prayers? Is there a heaven? How can we know? Often, we treat such questions as the enemy of faith. Uncertainty doesn’t mean our belief is lacking. Doubt is not the enemy of faith. It can actually be a means to a deeper, more humble, authentic, and thoughtful faith.
The claims of faith should be examined and carefully considered, but in the end, we make a decision to believe—to trust, in the case of the Christian faith, that there is a God, who has come to us in Jesus, who calls us to live as his followers, and that as we do, we find life, love, hope, and so much more.
In addition to reading Wrestling with Doubt, Finding Faith... we’ll hear (through pre recorded video) from best-selling author and pastor Adam Hamilton as he discusses some of our most significant sources of doubt and shows how a steady trust in God can emerge from them.
Rev. Hamilton approaches these sources of doubt with honesty and insight, drawing on the rich wisdom of the Bible, Christian tradition, and his experience walking with thousands of people on their spiritual journey.
Get ready for some great conversation and learning!

James calls believers to not only hear the truth, but also to put it into action. A commitment to love and to serve others is evidence of true faith… and ‘living faith’ makes a difference in our church, our community and our world!
Many of you are living your faith in various ways each day. If you are interested in serving the church on council or if you have ideas for a new ministry... please reach out to Pastor Kathy.
